Young Astronaut Training Camp
Intro
To cultivate the interest in astronomy and space science among the youth generation in Hong Kong as well as enhance their understanding about the development and achievements of the country’s space technology, the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce (CGCC) and Leisure and Cultural Services Department have organised the "Young Astronaut Training Camp" since 2009 to select thirty local secondary school students to undergo astronaut training programme in Beijing and Jiuquan. Sponsored by CGCC, students of the training camp will visit key astronomy and aerospace facilities and meet with aerospace experts and astronauts.
