Company Search Service of Hong Kong Companies The company search service is only applicable to the limited companies or organizations registered at the Companies Registry of the Hong Kong SAR Government. The scope of investigation covers the registration date and address, business nature, registered capital, registered information of major shareholders and directors, loan and mortgage from bank, and holdings of bonds of a limited company. Upon the receipt of the service charge by cheque, demand draft or remittance receipt, it takes 7 working days to prepare the report. The charge for the company search service is HK$1,000. Members of this Chamber and non-profit making organizations can enjoy 20% discount. Trade Enquiry Each year, the Chamber receives and handles a large number of local and foreign trade enquiries. Depending on the nature of the enquiries, the Chamber would provide the requested information either by phone or by post. The Trade and investment enquiries are also posted on the internet web site of this Chamber for the public's information. The Chamber, in addition, keeps in its office a collection of local and foreign trade directories, economic literature, trade notices and circulars, etc. which are available for reference upon request. A computerized data bank is maintained by the Chamber and both members and non-members alike are welcome to utilize this service.
